Pavel Kurial, M.D.

He developed together with the chief of plastic surgery, Vladimír Mařík, M.D., the VIBARP breast augmentation and modelling technique, which they continue to improve. The plastic surgery of České Budějovice is perceived in the professional community of plastic surgeons as a clinic bringing new surgical procedures, such as lipoabdominoplasty, (Brazilian technique of abdominoplasty), the internal bra method of breast modelling or, last but not least, the avulsion technique of arm and thigh modelling. Pavel Kurial, M.D., is one of the first pioneers of modern lipomodelling in the Czech Republic. Together with the chief of plastic surgery, Vladimír Mařík, M.D., they became the organizes of the annual Castle Beauty Conference. It is an aesthetic surgery course whose lecturers are international plastic surgeons belonging among the absolute world leaders.

Pavel Kurial,M.D., has been a board-certified plastic surgeon since 2004. He obtained his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine of the Palacký University in Olomouc in 1997. Subsequently, in the České Budějovice Hospital, Inc., he devoted himself to general surgery in which he passed the first degree certification in 2000. His interest in microsurgery led him to plastic surgery. He performed his first tissue transfers in reconstruction of defects and replantation of limb parts before his attestation in plastic surgery, which he successfully passed in 2004. Since then he has performed hundreds of microsurgical procedures. These include a unique finger replantation in a 14 month old toddler, several scalp replantations and numerous complex combined flap transfers for limb and facial defects. He has been involved in the introduction of new reconstructive procedures in breast replacement after cancer, anatomical reconstruction of the mandible and new modern procedures in aesthetic surgery.

Currently, Pavel Kurial, M.D., works as a deputy chief of plastic surgery at the České Budějovice Hospital, Inc. and is mainly engaged in aesthetic surgery. He also works in private practice at the CB Clinic Hluboká nad Vltavou and the Institute of Medical Cosmetics in České Budějovice. Thanks to the new techniques he learns on foreign courses, and surgeries he performs on daily basis, he acquires the skills with which he achieves results that place him at the forefront of plastic aesthetic surgery in the Czech Republic and abroad. He regularly lectures at congresses in the Czech Republic and abroad (USA, Belgium, Finland), and is happy to pass on his experience to younger colleagues in the team. He is a surgeon passionate about his field, with ambitions to achieve perfect results, and a great deal of respect for human personality. His other passions besides plastic surgery are yachting, windsurfing and music.
